DDC/PLC Engineer

This role involves designing, programming, and implementing automated control systems for HVAC and heat recovery plants.

Job Description:

Design and develop DDC/PLC (Direcrt Digiyal Controller/Programmable Logic Controller) programs based on project requirements.

Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of DDC/PLC-based systems.

Maintain and upgrade existing software and hardware to ensure operational efficiency.

Coordinate with other engineers and technicians to integrate DDC/PLC systems with other automated systems.

Document DDC/PLC programming and configuration details for maintenance and future reference.

Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel and end-users.

Keep abreast of the latest developments in DDC/PLC technology and applications to drive continuous improvement.

Design, Test, Debug, and commission Electrical panel.

Provide detailed documentation (Controls Philosophy, Description of Operation, Risk Assessment, User Manual, FAT, SAT, etc.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation Technology, or related field.

Extensive experience in DDC/PLC programming and automation systems design, preferably within the HVAC/BMS.

At least 3 years of experience with Climatix/Desigo series from Siemens is required

Experience with industrial PLC from Siemens and knowledge of STEP7, TIAPORTAL, PCS7, WinCC is highly preferable.

Proficiency in DDC/PLC programming languages such as Siemens CFC and IEC61131 (LD, ST, FB, SFC, IL).

Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work with challenging deadlines.

In-depth knowledge of BACnet, industrial communication protocols and interfaces, network technologies.

Strong communication, teamwork, and project management skills.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
