Job description

1. Research and Development:

- Conducting research and analysis to identify areas for product improvement or innovation.

- Designing and developing new electrical and mechanical components, systems, or processes.

- Creating and testing prototypes to validate design concepts and feasibility.

- Collaborating with cross-functional specialists, such as product managers, designers, consultants, autocad drawers, production managers, suppliers, to ensure the integration of electrical and mechanical aspects.

2. Data Center Design and Engineering:

- Utilizing engineering principles to develop detailed data center specifications and requirements.

- Designing electrical setup, mechanical systems, piping, heat exchangers setups, sensors, automation systems and subsystems to meet performance objectives.

- Conducting simulations, modeling, and analysis to optimize designs and validate performance.

- Applying relevant codes, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance and safety.

-choice of correct materials including dry coolers, power cabinets, sensors, PDUs, CDUs, etc.

- Creating Single Line Diagrams, PLC specifications, Commissioning protocols, and supporting the P&ID design process.

3. Technical Supervision:

- Overseeing the technical aspects of the production process, including manufacturing, assembly, and quality control.

- Collaborating with manufacturing engineers and technicians to ensure efficient and effective production operations.

- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues or problems that arise during production.

- Implementing improvements in production processes and product improvements/ variations to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

4. Testing and Validation:

- Developing and implementing test plans, procedures, and protocols to validate product performance and reliability.

- Conducting experiments, measurements, and tests to assess product functionality and adherence to specifications.

- Analyzing test data and interpreting results to identify areas for improvement or modification.

- Collaborating with quality assurance teams to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

- Generating technical documentation, including specifications, design documents, and test reports.

- Maintaining accurate records of design changes, revisions, and test results.

- Communicating project progress, challenges, and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations.

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth knowledge transfer and effective project management.
